Trimble GeoExplorer 2008 Series

The GeoXH™ handheld is Trimble's top-of-the-line solution for high accuracy GIS data collection. Engineered with H-Star™ technology, the GeoXH handheld delivers the subfoot (30 cm) GPS accuracy required by electric and gas utilities, water and wastewater services, land reform projects, and other applications where accurate positioning is crucial or 10 cm accuracy with a Zephyr antenna in post processing or real-time mode. Others in series are GeoXT and GeoXM (see below for accuracies.)

With H-Star technology, there's no need to initialize—in the time taken to record your attribute information, the GeoXH handheld logs the data you need to achieve subfoot accuracy. If you need the very best accuracy, add a Zephyr™ antenna to your GeoXH handheld to get 4 inch (10 cm) accuracy.

The GeoXH handheld comes with a powerful 520 MHz processor running the most advanced operating system available—Microsoft® Windows Mobile™ Version 6.0 software for Pocket PC. Windows Mobile is the industry standard open platform for mobile devices, so you can choose a software solution to match your workflow, whether off-the-shelf or purpose built.

There's plenty of storage space for all your GIS data, and with a Secure Digital (SD) memory card slot, you can add gigabytes of memory for all your maps. And if you need to access the Internet or your organization's secure network to get the most up-to-date data, it's no problem—the GeoXH handheld has built-in wireless LAN and Bluetooth®*, so you can access information on-the-go.

The GeoXH is the only handheld computer to offer subfoot GPS accuracy—without compromising the ruggedness and connectivity that are the hallmarks of the GeoExplorer series. Technology this clever has never been more convenient.

Trimble offers standalone GeoXH, GeoXM and GeoXT versions without Pathfinder Office or Terrasync software. Ideal for those who want to make their own CE datalogger software selection.
